A collaborative documentary and art project by Kanako Uzawa and Laura Liverani.

A still-and-moving-image project, Ainupuri aims to investigate and reframe the historical narratives behind Ainu museum collections in the Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo, Norway, from an indigenous perspective. Ainu artist and scholar Kanako Uzawa researches the collections and reconstructs the counter-narratives that Ainu objects in museums embody; visual artist Laura Liverani mediates these personal and collective histories in constant dialogue with Uzawa.
